Happy Husks Compostable Scrub Sponge

Meeting all your cleaning needs Happy Husk have a double-sided sponge and scrub – one side is a sponge and on the other side a scrub. The scrub sponges are strong enough to use around the house but gentle on surfaces and won’t scratch. This is 100% plastic free, made only from coconut fibres, natural latex and natural cellulose (wood pulp). Rather than using glue, the sponge and scrub are stitched using 100% cotton to prolong the life of the sponge. Once the sponge reaches the end of its life, it is biodegradable and compostable so simply cut it up and stick in your compost or food waste safe in the knowledge that no micro plastics have leaked into the environment.

On sourcing an alternative to the commonly seen and used green and yellow sponges, Happy Husks realised a lot of “eco-sponges” advertised as using natural fibres were in-fact blended with recycled polyeste
