Bamboo toothbrushes are an eco-friendly alternative, because bamboo is a natural plant, fully biodegradable, thus a renewable and sustainable resource. It is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet so we don’t need to worry about running out any time soon.

As for bristles on bamboo toothbrushes although they are still made of nylon, these can be removed (with pliers) leaving the base of the brush to be disposed of or composted. We also deliver them in a kraft box and fully recyclable paper packaging. 

With proper care, a natural bamboo toothbrush will last as long as any plastic toothbrush. It's suggested you rinse your toothbrush after cleaning your teeth and keep it dry. Dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or when the bristles have frayed out of shape
